Privacy Request Process

This process explains how Zesty handles requests for access, correction, export, deletion, grievance redressal, consent withdrawal, or related privacy actions.
Who should submit the request
Organization owners and admins can request access, export, correction, or deletion review for their restaurant workspace where the product or support process allows it.
Restaurant customers and staff should usually contact the restaurant first because the restaurant controls much of the order, customer, staff, loyalty, billing, and communication data inside its workspace. Zesty may redirect requests to the relevant restaurant organization when appropriate.
How to submit
Send a request to hello@zesty.id or use the support channel in the application. Include:
- requester name and contact details;
- restaurant or organization name, if relevant;
- request type: access, correction, export, deletion, withdrawal, grievance, or other;
- enough context to identify the relevant account, order, support ticket, staff record, or customer record;
- proof that you are authorized to make the request.
Do not send passwords, full card details, OTPs, private keys, or unrelated sensitive documents.
Verification
Zesty may verify identity, organization authority, account ownership, or restaurant administrator approval before acting. Requests may be refused, limited, or delayed when verification fails, the request is abusive or unsafe, or retention is required for legal, tax, accounting, payment, security, backup, fraud-prevention, dispute, or audit reasons.
Handling workflow
- Log the request and assign an owner.
- Verify identity and authority.
- Identify relevant systems, organizations, records, and providers.
- Confirm whether the restaurant or Zesty controls the requested data.
- Export, correct, delete, restrict, or explain retention limits as appropriate.
- Record the decision, evidence, completion date, and any provider follow-up.
Response timing
Zesty aims to acknowledge privacy requests promptly and complete valid requests within a reasonable period based on scope, verification, provider dependencies, and applicable law.
